WOW. The last three lines is what it's all about! Nicely done. I don't like 'hidden in warmth,' though: what does it mean?
Not sure how well I've pulled this one off. It for sure could use a rewrite. I think somewhere in there is the tension between being warmed and burned by someone, and not really being able to tell the difference.
